Support all aspects of research associated with the Viral Vectors and Vaccines Bioprocessing Lab.

Responsibilities

• Designing and executing production experiments with mammalian cells.
• Implementing analytical protocols for recombinant proteins and viral vectors.
• Writing protocols and reporting the data for technical reports to clients.
• Organizing and analyzing the data for contribution to scientific publications.
• Managing lab inventory, purchases, equipment installation and maintenance, ensuring all Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) regulations are implemented.

• 2018: Research Intern at Regional Blood Center of Ribeirão Preto (Brazil), involved in projects for hematopoietic differentiation of iPS cells.
• 2014: Summer Intern at The Shoichet Lab, Institute of Biomaterials and Biomedical Engineering - University of Toronto (Toronto, Canada).
• 2013: Internship at TCP Transgenic Core on Manipulating Mouse Embryonic Stem (ES) Cells (Toronto, Canada).
